This is a WRX transmission that has been opened up. The center differential section is the 3rd separate piece in the middle. If you are familiar with transmissions you can see the gears, the front differential (which has been upgraded to an LSD), the synchro gears, shift selector forks and 2nd gear missing some teeth. This came out of a 2002 WRX wagon I believe.
