Catcerto – Nora the Piano Cat

Take it from a classically trained musician who spent thousands of hours in rehearsals of all kinds.

This is the most Epic Cat Piano creation to date.

If there is a better one out there, I would like to know about it though !!
This guy is was not messing around at all. Nor was the cat, Nora.

In the YouTube post, one comment reads:

“Every time I listen to this I’m in a puddle of tears which I can’t entirely explain. Such a wonderful small composition with great musical logic, symmetry and wistful depth of feeling. Even if you remove the novelty of the cat and listen with no visuals, it stands as a little gem of melancholy, playful romanticism. Well done to all involved, just brilliant”

Welcome to the CATcerto!

The CATcerto is the current project of the lithuanian conductor, composer and artist Mindaugas Piečaitis. The world premiere was performed by Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra in the Klaipėda Concert Hall in Klaipėda (Lithuania) on 5th June, 2009. It gained recognition in the international media, a.o. the BBC, Lithuanian TV, Baltic TV and the First Baltic Chanel (russian).

Mindaugas Piečaitis composed and directed the Catcerto for Nora The Piano Cat™ and orchestra, where Nora, the soloist, was brought in via video.
