Autocross recap from the weekend, Seneca Army Depot
Here is a video recap from Sunday’s WNY SCCA event at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY. Participating cars include a Lotus Elise, a 1967-ish Mustang, Camaro, Mercedes SLK55 AMG, B-Modified open-wheel car, Civic hatchback, a supercharged Mustang, my 2004 WRX Impreza, Subaru STI’s, F-Modified open-wheel cars, some BMW’s, and many more.
ouch, Indy 500 driver in 1st place hits wall in final lap, keeps going
(This was a few weeks ago, but I didn’t watch the race, so I just found it on the internet today).
The bad: he went off the line, ended up on a dirty part of the track and lost grip, hitting the wall
The good: he managed to keep moving and steering with 2 functioning wheels, foot on the gas the whole way.
JR Hildebrand crashes in the final turn and Dan Wheldon takes the win:
